Bio: Orphaned since he was 3 years old, he was found near a temple, hungry and lost, injured and crying. Monks took him in where he dedicated his life to the ways of the monk and spent most of his life training his mind and body, learning various styles of martial arts, and while honoring the monk's code of silence.

Upon travelling to a nearby village, he was captured by raiders, who then tortured him, beating him and scarring him both physically and mentally. His fellow monk brethren never came to his rescue and left him for dead and at the will of his captors.

Months passed, and even though Janus was subjected to so much torture, he continually strengthened his mind through meditation, always in a trance-like state and never uttering a sound even against the lash of a whip. Fed up with his silence, he was released from captivity, and he was nursed back to health by a good and honest farmer, who let him work in his fields to make an honest living. But he swore revenge on his monk brothers, and the hatred for his brethren burned within him every second of every day.

Months later, Janus left the farm to find his own way to live, feeding off the garbage of the streets of villages he came across. He learned how to sneak, break and enter homes without being caught, how to live like a thief. One night, he entered a home and was looking for food, money, valuables, whatever he could get his hands on, when he stumbled upon a dark shrouded being looming over a man sleeping in his bed, about to be assassinated. The assassin spotted Janus, and Janus did nothing but stand there and watch as the sleeping man was killed silently. The black gaze of the assassin fell upon Janus, who continued to remain planted in his spot, for he feared no death.

Seeing this look upon Janus' face, the assassin lead him to a secret meeting, where he was then taken in by a Order of assassins and shown the way of life by the assassin's creed. He spent the next several years training in the the art of stealth, cunning, and, eventually, becoming an assassin himself, and becoming part of the Order.

He excelled in his assassination missions, carrying out every order to the letter and was neither revealed, nor captured and always remained incognito. He had done the Order proud.

But there was something more that Janus wanted...

Everyday, Janus lived by the creed, ate by the creed, slept by the creed, bled by the creed. He was the perfect assassin. He carried out missions no other assassin would even dream of carrying out. Missions that other assassins thought to be suicidal. But he did them anyways, and he always came back untouched, unscathed, and undetected. Not even the Order knew he had returned from his missions.

He became highly renouned within the Order and was recognized as the greatest assassin the Order had ever known. His fellow brethren began to follow his lead, thus, creating a new breed of assassins and a new Order.

And he had done all this without ever saying a word, for he had other plans...

One night, a great shadow was cast upon the monk temple. Death was all around. Legend tells, that a "shadow demon" emerged from the darkness and swallowed the monks, snatching them from the light, fear and anguish on their faces as they were tossed lifelessly from the shadows. All that remained of the monks were dead bodies and streams of flowing blood.

The "demon" was never seen nor was it heard from again...
